Winter Training Program: Maintain, Build, and Peak for Spring Skis or Runs

Who.

Hut trippers, ski racers, runners, objective seekers, and anyone who wants to maintain early season strength, build mountain fitness, and target something this spring.

We have running, BC, or skimo training plans specific to your goals, with three different options in terms of volume and experience to tailor the program to your needs.

What.

This 12-week series gives you an in-season training plan delivered through TrainingPeaks with strength maintenance and aerobic progressions. The program includes:

  • Weekly group email from your coaches

  • Strength and mobility videos specific to your plan and goals

  • Monthly zoom on varying training topics,

  • A comprehensive training plan (that includes strength, aerobic, and mobility workouts).

  • Premium TrainingPeaks account

  • Access to the group’s private Slack channel for online coach and community support

 

When.

Training starts Jan. 27, for races mid-April/eary May. Registration opens Jan. 10th.

We’ll apply your plan for when you’re able to start, based on your goals.

Where.

Wherever you are! The strength workouts can be done with minimal equipment. We have an exercise library to learn proper form, and workout videos to follow along.
