2023 Ski Prep
Welcome to the 12-week Ski-Prep Training Group! This page has some good resources as you get into your training and will serve as the “home base” for any additional information that I want to share with you during the program. We have a Cascade Endurance slack channel where you’ll find channels on injury, running buddies, and more.

All of the updates will be on the Ski Training Blog
Getting Started
The first step in your training is to create a Training Peaks account. Training Peaks is the platform we use for all our coaching; at its simplest, it’s a calendar, but it also has powerful metrics for tracking your fitness and serves as a great training log, to make any notes and observations about your training as you progress. There’s an app and desktop version, and you can connect your account to your watch so that your watch data syncs to the app. Once you create your account, you’ll be attached to our coach account and we can apply your training plan.
Slack and Getting the Correct Training Plan
There are several Cascade Endurance Slack channels. The button to the below will add you to CE. Once you join, I’ll add you to the private Ski Prep channel. Feel free to join any of the existing channels like injury prevention, training buddies, and more.
We also want to make sure we give you the correct amount of training volume and specificity to your goals. Please fill out the form below.

Love the up
This program is strength based, with aerobic training focused on uphill travel. If you have poles, use them for the interval workouts, and your longer effort on the weekends.

Zones
Make sure that during your training easy efforts are easy, and hard efforts are hard. Most of your training should be at an effort where you can tell a story and not worry about your breathing.
