Women looking to become stronger, balance their metabolism, and feel better for an active life.
There is a lot of information out there throwing around terms like sprinting, lifting heavy, HIIT training, and more. Perplexed? This is designed to help you simplify training and learn what you need to fit it into your life and train sustainably.
What.
Women’s physiology is different than men’s, and as we age, our bodies and needs change. This 8-week program includes a progressive training plan delivered through TrainingPeaks with two phases of strength and aerobic progressions. Your training plan will be specific to your current activity level and experience with strength and aerobic training, two foundational aspects of healthy aging. Each week you’ll receive an email providing context for the training, as well as instructional videos for strength and mobility exercises, more detail about the importance of training fitting into women’s health. You’ll also have access to our bi-weekly Zoom calls and a private training group Slack channel for ongoing coach and community support.
When.
8-week Training group starts May 6, 2024.
Where.
Your home or local gym, and where ever you like to exercise outside. Depending on your experience level, you’ll be able to do the strength workouts from home, or to get enough load, your local gym.
