Winter is Coming…
I haven’t watched the new Game of Thrones show yet, but winter is indeed coming, despite the roasting temps right now. As the saying goes, “skiers are made in the summer.” The off-season prepares you to take full advantage of the goods all winter, and you’re likely already running, climbing, or biking to prepare for heading uphill, but now is the time where adding a few key workouts will get you off on an even better track. We put together an eight-week summer ski training plan, that’s now available. It includes strength and weighted uphill workouts, that can be a great way to continue getting out in the alpine and use the snow-free steep terrain to your advantage.
Looking slightly ahead, our fall program starts October third to get you ready. The 12-week program includes hill workouts, strength and mobility video sessions, a weekly email, monthly zoom, and online coach and community support. Start the training plan now, and seamlessly head into the October program for a full season of ski training!
