Intro to Printmaking with Cal Waichler
Explore the beauty of printmaking with local artist Claire (Cal) Waichler. Through woodcut printmaking, painting, and collage, she explores themes of wilderness, climate change, and the complex ecological stories that occur underfoot, overhead, and out of sight. Her creative work is underpinned by time spent mountaineering, commercial fishing, and working as a researcher and educator in environmental fields. She makes artwork to revisit and intuitively express these far-flung experiences. Cal studied Environmental Science and printmaking at Colby College.
Workshop is limited to eight participants and includes supplies, focusing on mark making and beginning to advanced techniques in relief with linoleum.
Women's Training Group Begins
Join our virtual training group to learn how to train best for your unique physiology! Women’s bodies are different than mens, and through this training group you’ll learn how to train best for YOU. Especially as we age, adapting our training to our specific needs becomes more important for our overall health and well being. In this eight-week group you’ll learn how your cycle impacts training, how to incorporate or modify your strength training for optimal health, and simply how to feel better in your body and out doing fun things.
It’s open to all ages and all abilities. Each week you’ll receive an email with a short video discussing various topics around training and women’s health and wellness, with access to you coach (Alison Naney) and community through Slack, and a comprehensive training plan specific to your favorite activity and where you are in your current active life. Strength training is included in the training plan, and depending on your needs you can do everything from home (there are many creative ways to make things harder), or you may need access to a gym for lifting heavier weight. If you have any questions, please email alison@cascadeendurance.com.
Eight weeks of strength and aerobic workouts designed for active women wanting to work with our unique physiology to get stronger and feel better.

Spring Track Series Begins
This eight-week series will help you improve your top end speed, improve your running form, and provide a (very) sport-specific strength workout at the Liberty Bell track.
Each week we’ll progress the workouts, and one of the great things about track is that it’s easy to tailor the workout to whatever you need. Alison makes sure you get the workout and training effect you need based on your background, current training, injury history, and goals.
Hill Workout
